The AVP, Organizational Development is responsible for the assessment of organizational needs and the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of team members, particularly Senior Leaders and emerging leaders.

• Completes the design, development and implementation of programs, policies and strategies tailored to meet OD needs and program goals.

• Manages the OD strategies and processes, to include documenting processes and the business strategy and design.

• Assesses OD needs of operating, business and functional units.

• Designs and executes key programmatic elements of the OD process.

• Evaluates strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals.

• Assists with the provision of expert facilitation and coaching to supervisors and managers regarding leadership development tools and strategies in classroom and training forums.

• Manages the individual development planning process of key executives and emerging leaders.

• Provides consultative services to business units regarding mentoring, to include the creation of a scalable mentorship program throughout the organization.

• Plans and leads short and long-term planning for OD programs.

• Performs other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Education:

4 year / Bachelors Degree

Preferred Education:

Graduate Degree

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6-10 years’ experience in Organizational Development, preferably for large organizations and/or functional business units.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to Detail and advanced critical thinking skills. Advanced leadership and relationship management skills. A strong cultural awareness.

• Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook. Ability to quickly resolve issues and concerns. Ability to quickly interpret and analyze environments and behaviors to develop appropriate communication program strategies and tactics.
