The Vice President, Revenue Cycle will support the back end revenue cycle operations by acting as the Vice President, Revenue Cycle for hospital facilities. This role is a client-facing representative, whether primarly assigned to a work location locally or remotely. The Vice President will report to the Senior Vice President, Revenue Cycle with dotted line reporting to the client leadership and C-suite team. The Vice President will attend and/or direct mangement meetings providing reporting on metrics for the client and translating metrics . The role will also facilitate communication with the Case Management, Health Information Management, and Patient Access departments onsite, at the hopsital, to ensure that trending issues are root caused and corrected upstream in the patient account process. The Vice President is responsible to oversee client account strategy to ensure that the expectations are met. This role will vet trended results and provide cash forcasting for budgeting. The Vice President will assist in the performance of onsite review and high dollar review. The Vice President may act as the first point of contact for the client for all revenue cycle related requests.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a Healthcare related field required. Master's degree preferred.

Experience: 5-10 years experience in the hospital insurance industry, required. Keen understanding of the revenue cycle and opportunity for uncollected revenue required. Previous management or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Excellent working knowledge of the hospital revenue cycle required.

Licenses/Certificates: Must pass the Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) examination offered through the Healthcare Financial Management Association within 90 days of license issuance at time of hire, unless already certified.
