Patient Access associates are customer service specialists that interview patients to obtain demographic, financial and insurance information and develop the claim forms generated for services rendered at Hackensack UMC at Pascack Valley. All patients are greeted, interviewed, and assisted to obtain this important information. These positions represent some of the first contact a patient has with the hospital. Whether speaking to a patient in the Emergency Department after they have had their medical screening exam or registering a paitent for a diagnostic imaging procedure our team of professionals begin the organizational revenue cycle, with attention to detail and award winning customer service.

Candidatest that would excel in this role are detailed oriented team players, who have advanced general computer and internet skills, and can work with frequent interuption.
