Patient Access Lead supports the overall operation and is responsible for all admitting functions of the hospital. The lead ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines. This role is responsible for reporting process and overall patient and physician satisfaction. The incumbent must be able to handle stressful situations and provide decisions using sound judgment. Must have the ability to handle multiple requests and deliver a high level of customer service, setting the example for all patient access staff. Ensures staff receive appropriate training and is responsible for assisting the leadership team with adequate staffing of their area 24 hours a day 7 days a week, including holidays.
